2027 Burlington Blast Tournament
We are excited to once again host teams from across Ontario in Burlington for the 2027 Burlington Blast Ringette Tournament. This year's tournament will be held Friday January 8th to Sunday January 10th, 2027.
This year we are looking forward to another fantastic weekend of ringette, with great competition across all levels. We’re especially excited to feature a U16AA division, with the potential to welcome teams from across Ontario, Canada, and even Finland! It will be a great opportunity for players and families to enjoy exciting ringette throughout the weekend and see some of the sport’s top young athletes compete right here in Burlington.
Tournament Information
What makes the Burlington Blast tournament different?
- Early Tournament Schedule - We aim to release our schedule approximately four weeks before the tournament, giving teams plenty of time to plan their weekend.
- Convenient Hotels - Great accommodation options are available very close to Appleby Ice Centre, including Hampton Inn & Suites beside the Appleby Ice Centre you can just walk to the Arena
- Huge 50/50 Draw - Our tournament 50/50 has grown into a highlight of the weekend, with total pots ranging from $21,000-$23,000 in each of the past three years.
- 4-Game Guarantee for U12 divisions — Both U12 A and U12 B/C divisions will have a 4-game guarantee!!!
- A Great Tournament Vibe - Beyond the games, we typically offer a vendor room, silent auction, tournament photography and other activities throughout the weekend.

The tournament will welcome teams in the following divisions:

Tournament details
- All teams should be prepared to play early Friday morning. Where possible, scheduling consideration will be given to out of town teams. All teams will play on Friday. Any special requests will be looked at on a best efforts basis.
- U16, U19 & 18+ must be prepared to play late-evening games.
- The majority of games will be played at Appleby Ice Centre. Some games will be played at Mainway Recreation Centre which is a 4-minute drive away.
- Ringette Ontario Sanctioned Tournament rules and Ringette Ontario's Competition Playing Rules apply.
Registration & Team Confirmation
Registration will close on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Registrations received after this time will be placed on a waitlist and teams will be contacted if space becomes available.
Submitting a registration does not guarantee your team a spot in the tournament. The Blast Tournament Committee will review registrations, and teams will receive a separate email confirming their acceptance into the tournament.
Once your team has been confirmed, full payment must be received within five (5) days to secure your spot. If payment is not received within this timeframe, your spot may be offered to another team.
Withdrawals & Refunds
Teams may withdraw and receive a full refund up to and including October 25, 2026. No refunds will be issued for team withdrawals after this date.

Payment Details
Payment by credit card or e-transfer is accepted. Payment instructions can be found on the Online Payments (E-Transfers) page.
Please remember that payment should only be submitted after your team has received its confirmation email and must be received within five (5) days to secure your spot.
